Rings can’t live without you

I can’t live without my rings and if I forget them at home I must go back to pick them up. I need them, without them I feel empty, as if I had forgotten something vital for my survival. Rings identify us since every one means something to us. Every single ring has its own story, some of them its own owner before they get to me. Sometimes rings give us the power we don’t have in ourselves and of course… most of them will give us an unique style just for you, just for me.

No puedo vivir sin mis anillos y si me olvido de ellos en casa tengo que volver a recogerlos. Los necesito, sin ellos me siento vacía, como si hubiera olvidado algo vital para mi supervivencia. Los anillos nos identifican puesto que cada uno significa algo para nosotros. Cada anillo tiene su propia historia, incluso alguno de ellos su propio dueño antes de llegar a mí. A veces los anillos nos dan el poder que no tenemos en nosotros mismos y, por supuesto… la mayoría de ellos nos aportan un estilo único sólo para ti, sólo para mí.

Federal Cafe

The Cool hunter profession is much, much more than predicting the star color of next year or rediscover the must-have Blazer for next season. Cool hunters we do not only work for fashion. We also analyse the street, ours or different surroundings to find new trends of every possible social topic, to respond society by giving solutions and answering the difficult question: what’s next?

Finally! It has taken me too long to start with this but… here it is. Welcome to HUNGER! muymia loves discovering that’s why on this section I will introduce you cool places to eat, drink & share a coffee, tea, beer…

Lately I am in love with brunches (this meal in between a late breakfast and a early lunch). Advised by my friend Joan, last week I went to Federal for the first time and I promise it won’t be the last one. If you live here or you’re planning to come to Barcelona I totally recommend you to go. A couple of australian guys opened this place a year ago. The owners are not the same anymore but luckly the cafe still in the city.

Unfortunately in Barcelona everything is closed on sundays, so a great idea is to go to Federal Cafe to drink a coffee made with fresh milk on the terrace, eat a hand-made cake, cookies and muffins, try eggs benedict, healthy salads… surrounded by beautiful people (on the inside & outside).

La profesión de Cool hunter (caza-tendencias) significa mucho, mucho más que predecir el color estrella del año que viene o re-descubrir el Blazer como imprescindible para la próxima temporada. Los Cool hunters no sólo trabajamos para la moda, sino que también analizamos la calle, nuestro u otros entornos para encontrar nuevas tendencias (corrientes actitudinales) de cada posible tema social y respondemos a la sociedad ofreciendo soluciones y respondiendo a la difícil pregunta: ¿y ahora que es lo siguiente?

¡Por fin! Me ha llevado más tiempo de lo previsto empezar con esto pero… aquí está. Bienvenid@s a HUNGER (hambre)! A muymia le encanta probar y descubrir, por eso en esta sección os introduciré en atractivos lugares para comer, beber y compartir un café, té, cerveza…

Últimamente estoy obsesionada con los brunch (comida entre un desayuno tardío y un almuerzo temprano). Aconsejada por mi amigo Joan, la semana pasada finalmente pude ir a Federal por primera vez y prometo que no será la última. Si vives en Barcelona o estás pensando en visitar la ciudad, sin duda os lo recomiendo. Una pareja de australianos abrieron este lugar hace un año. Los dueños ya no son los mismos, pero por suerte el café sigue con nosotros.

Por desgracia en Barcelona los domingos está todo cerrado, por eso una gran idea es ir a Café Federal a tomar un café con leche fresca en la terraza, probar un trozo de tarta, madalena o galleta 100% artesanal, unos huevos benedictinos, sanas ensaladas… rodeados de gente guapa (por dentro y por fuera).

You must know that this project without you has no reason to be, and each new post I publish I write it for the readers. I have spent a year of my life creating this site and I must confess that I can’t life without it no more. Here I open my mind to you, I can express my feelings and my unconventional way of thinking. ¡Hoy celebro el primer aniversario de muymia con todos vosotros! Me gustaría daros las gracias por vuestro apoyo diario, dedicación y también el tiempo que pasáis en mi blog. Debéis saber que este proyecto sin vosotros no tiene razón de ser, y que cada nuevo post que publico lo hago pensando en los que me leeis. He pasado un año de mi vida creando diariamente este espacio en la Red y debo confesar que ya no puedo vivir sin él. Aquí puedo abrir mi mente, puedo expresar mis sentimientos y mi forma no convencional de pensar. Esta es mi ventana al mundo donde poder mostrar lo que ven mis ojos, lo que siente mi corazón y cómo entiendo mi pasión por el arte de la moda y el universo de las nuevas tendencias. GRACIAS en mayúsculas desde lo más profundo de mí, me siento enormemente agradecida cada día por el tiempo, comentarios y atención que me habéis regalado. What are trends?

Trends are just like grass. If you take care of it will grow, but if you don’t it will die and the rest of flowers will laugh about it. It needs water and vitamines to born & grow up; but if you don’t give it enough or too many, sooner or later it will disappear or it will disappoint you. Seasons are primary for the growing process and not to feel out of place, but it is also important to think about the context because the length of stay it is not timeless but temporary. Once exists everyone wants it at home because it is new, decorative and fresh, but after a few weeks it becomes just as part of your everyday. If you know how to take care of it, you will feel as if you are belonging to somewhere but if you don’t, you will find loneliness or invisibility in the middle of the garden. And as always… if the roots are strong it will flourish again at the perfect moment.

So now you can understand the meaning of my decision by choosing grass as the design for the top of this website… grass = as the developing process of a trend.

Las tendencias son como el césped. Si cuidas de él crecerá, pero si no lo cuidas morirá y el resto de las flores se reirá de él. Necesita agua y vitaminas para nacer, crecer y desarrollarse; pero si no le dan lo suficiente o le dan demasiado, tarde o temprano desaparecerá o te decepcionará. Las estaciones son primordiales para el proceso de crecimiento y para no sentirse fuera de lugar, pero también es importante pensar en el contexto debido a que su existencia no es eterna, sino temporal. Una vez que existe todo el mundo lo quiere en su casa, porque es nuevo, decorativo y fresco, pero después de unas pocas semanas pasa a formar parte de tu día a día. Si sabes cuidar de él, te sentirás como si se pertenecieses a algún lugar, pero si no sabes cómo, sólo encontrarás soledad o invisibilidad en medio del jardín. Y como siempre ocurre… si las raíces son fuertes con el tiempo volverán a florecer cuando sea el momento perfecto.

Así que ahora ya puedes entender el significado de mi decisión al elegir césped como diseño para la parte superior de esta página web… césped = como el proceso de desarrollo de una tendencia.
