Today is a wonderful day. Today is saturday. Almost everyone loves saturdays, well… (except if you have to work).
My morning plan is to make myself a huge cup of coffee & relax (so that’s one more reason why I love saturdays so much). But what about if I’d be spending my saturday in London? I’d definitely go for breakfast at Café Phillies and then straight to Portobello’s Market (‘coz today is the best day to go there). And what if I’d be in New York? Oh… then I’d go for cupcakes at Magnolia Bakery and after that I’d go to see what’s new at Saturdays Surf NYC. But what if I’d be in Hong Kong? Then I’d go for a ‘The Dancing Queen’ at The Dessert Kitchen and after that I’d go to Soho to see the new arrivals at Peppermint store. But… what about if I’d be in Madrid? If I’d be in Madrid then I think I’d go to have lunch at Bar Tomate or Casa Lucio, after that I’d have a pleasant walk through Cava Baja and Cava Alta streets and then I’d go for a big piece of cake or a cocktail at Delic (since you can have both on the same place). Okay but…What about if I’d be in Berlin? Well… if I’d be in Berlin I’d have breakfast at any of the amazing universities out there and then I’d go to The Corner department store or to walk around Mitte streets. And if I’d be in Brussels… then I’m sure I’d be staying at The White Hotel, I’d spend a few hours at René Magritte Museum (his real home outside the city) and later I’d go to have lunch at Les Marolles area. But if I’d be in Tokyo instead? 100% I’d go to Harajuku neighboorhood all-day-long. But what if I’d be in Los Ángeles? Then I’d go for a brunch to Cafe 50’s, to drive myself crazy at Maxfield store and later I’d go to check out characters at Venice Beach. However… As right now I am in Barcelona I will dress like a Star and I will go for a walk to the city center, I will check out a few new stores and I will have lunch at Caravelle (new restaurant) located at 31, Pintor Fortuny street.
Hoy es un día maravilloso porque hoy es sábado. A casi todo el mundo le gustan los sábados (si es que no tienes que trabajar). Mi plan mañanero es prepararme una enorme taza de café y relajarme (una razón más de porqué me gustan tanto los sábados). ¿Pero qué pasaría si estuviera pasando mi sábado en Londres? Pues que con toda seguridad me iría a desayunar a Café Phillies y luego iría directamente al mercado de Portobello (porque hoy es sin duda el mejor día para ir allí). ¿Y si estuviera en Nueva York? Ah pues… entonces iría a tomar cupcakes en Magnolia Bakery y después de eso me pasaría a ver qué hay de nuevo en Saturdays Surf NYC. Aunque… ¿Y si estuviera en Hong Kong? Entonces seguramente iría a por un The Dancing Queen a The Dessert Kitchen y después iría al barrio del Soho para ver las novedades de Peppermint store. ¿Y si estuviera en Madrid? Si estuviera en Madrid… entonces creo que iría a comer al Bar Tomate o Casa Lucio y luego tendría un agradable paseo por las calles Cava Baja y Cava Alta; para luego ir a por un gran trozo de pastel o un fantástico cóctel en Delic (ya que allí puedes tener ambas cosas que en el mismo lugar). Bien, pero… ¿Qué pasaría si estuviera en Berlín? Ah bueno… Si estuviera en Berlín tomaría el desayuno en cualquiera de las universidades increíbles de por ahí y luego me iría directa a la tienda The Corner o a dar un paseo por las calles en el barrio de Mitte. Pero si estuviera en Bruselas… Entonces estoy segura de que volvería a alojarme en el The White Hotel, me pasaría horas en el Museo de René Magritte (la casa auténtica donde vivió, a las afueras de la ciudad) y después me iría a comer por el área de Les Marolles. Pero… ¿Y si por el contrario estuviera en Tokio? ¡Ah! Con toda seguridad iría al barrio de Harajuku a pasar todo el día. Aunque si estuviera en Los Ángeles… Haría un brunch en Cafe 50’s, luego iría a volverme loca a Maxfield y más tarde iría a ver pasar personajes a Venice Beach. Sin embargo… En estos momentos me encuentro en Barcelona, así que voy a vestirme como una estrella de cine y me iré a dar un paseo por el centro de la ciudad, echaré un vistazo por algunas de las nuevas tiendas que han abierto en la ciudad condal y luego me iré a comer al recién inaugurado Caravelle situado en la calle Pintor Fortuny número 31.
